Nothing like relaxing on vacation. Harbortown at Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head was so relaxing. Good thing I brought the Nook. Great meals, quality beach time with 80 degree water, good photo opportunities, parasailing, and bike rides. Ate fried green tomatoes & barrell fish for the first time. Both were excellent. The only bummer was the jellyfish warnings at the beach. Checked out Savannah, GA too. LOt's of cool signs to take pictures of. Couldn't believe the cargo ships going by on the river. No we didn't eat at Paula Dean's. All the locals told us to avoid it. Instead ate lunch at The Old Pink House. Great meal & cool history of the house. There's a ghost in the basement tavern. You can check that out here .
Of course summer is flying by and I haven't read half of the books on my list. I keep finding new books to read. Just finished The Leftovers by Tom Perrotta. Really a fun read. I'll have to look at my wish list & see what's next. MAybe the book about the Dream Team or Gone Girl. I only have 50 books on the wish list.
Well time to say toodles!
